Maximize Your Workouts by Using Different Machines

Maintaining the same workout regimen for a time is dead boring already. One does not get motivated anymore. The body is not responding to the routine because it got used to with it already. However, this feeling is just typical for someone who has been working out for some time already. Seasoned athletes even experience this kind of thing. In this case, it is advisable that people change their workout programs once in a while. Shifting workout programs can help a lot. Maybe one can increase intensity or longer miles for running. It can also contribute if one changes workout environment. A month or two in the gym can be boring. To address boredom, one can workout through dancing or outdoor running. People can just do anything they want in their workout program to make it lively.

Shifting Different Fitness Equipment

Aside from changing the workout environment, people must remember that shifting fitness machines are recommended.

Using only one equipment for a longer period is plain boring already. In fact, using only treadmill for a certain pace does not help in burning calories. The body will get tired with this same old routine. One can have elliptical machines as alternative. If bored already, one can get into Pilates fitness equipment. Changing fitness machines can also workout all parts of the body. This can contribute as well in strengthening all muscles in the body. This is very applicable especially among gym users.

Treadmill, Elliptical and Pilates

Many people are getting into these three fitness machines. These have different levels of intensity as well as usage. But all of these three are good workout machines. These will also contribute in weight loss. When it comes to cardio workout, the treadmill is the best. It works best on the stamina and endurance. Among the three equipment mentioned, this has the highest intensity. One can run as fast as he/she can on the treadmill. The treadmill works the lower body. This high-impact training on the treadmill can also cause muscle strains and joint injuries if not being careful. Less strenuous than the treadmill, the elliptical machine is a good cardio machine alternative. It creates low impact workouts that also develop endurance and stamina. When it comes to core strengthening, the Pilates machine is the answer. A good workout does not only work on cardio exercises but also work on strengthening the muscles especially the core. The Pilates workout also improves flexibility.

Get your own machine!

Despite the need to switch fitness machines, it is advisable to have one machine at home. Having a fitness machine at home will maintain the workout routine even if one is not in the gym. Even just at home, one can still be able to workout. A brisk walk daily on the treadmill for thirty minutes is enough to warm up the morning. For the afternoon, one can hit the gym. There are days also that one misses out going to the gym. By having a treadmill at home, one will never miss a day without workout. So, aside from your daily gym workouts, have a treadmill at home. You can find the best treadmill at any treadmill assembly center near you.

These are all great machines, but they can be expensive. Personally, I would only get 2 out of the 3. Ellipticals and treadmills pretty much accomplish the same thing, so I would get one of those (personally, I prefer an elliptical) and the Pilates machines. Two pieces of equipment can still be really expensive, so it is best to look for good quality used exercise equipment. You can save tons of money that way. ( http://www.fitnessplus.com )
